At the end of a long day in Paris, we headed off to Italy. (What in the world? Who even does that?!)

We all bunked up for a nice long 13-hour train ride. The sweet thing about it is that everyone has their own bunk. We just put a movie on and then went to bed.

When we woke up, we were in Italy!!

This is the first thing we saw when we stepped out of the train station. The station literally sits just in front of the river. It is beautiful. I can't believe this place is really real. I have always just thought of it as being part of a storybook or painting.

We had quite the time getting to our hotel in Venice. We had to hop onto another train out of the city. Once we got of that train, we thought we were staying at the Holiday Inn just on the other side of the tracks. Come to find out, we were actually staying at the Holiday Inn Express a good long way away...especially with (girl) (interior design) luggage. I wasn't in too bad of shape as far as heavy luggage but one of the girl's bags had a broken wheel and pretty much had to drag her (biggest) bag (of the group) all the way to the Hotel.
