It was fantastic! There were so many stage tricks and the set was amazing! The music made you want to jump up on stage and dance along. This is the lovely theater (The Prince Edward Theater) where the play was performed.
As for the cast...they were utterly charming. Mary really seemed 'practically perfect in every way' and Bert was oh so charming. He would make a girl want to run away to a street painting festival. The energy was contagious. Just when they'd finish a big song and everyone would applaud with all their might, they'd give it one more burst of energy and you couldn't help but jump to your feet and clap more. All in all, it was wonderful!
That's me being Mary - except for the fact that my umbrella was folded up my handbag.
