I missed out on our pancake breakfast to go but all the clapping and dancing tried to make up the difference. Luckily sweet Simon was still up from the night before and whipped me one up. We smothered them with strawberries and bananas, nutella, treacle syrup, lemon and sugar, oatmeal and shreds of chocolate. Here's the recipe. It's easy:
2 eggs
1 c. milk
enough flour to make it thicker than crepe batter but thinner than normal pancake batter.
Pour a pancake sized amount into a hot greased pan. Tip the pan to spread the batter. Brown it, top it, roll it, eat it.
We sang our whole way home from church. We belted out the best of vigorous hymns both in the tube station and along the walk home.
We soon made our way to the train station where we dropped Simon off for his final journey home.
This is us at platform 9-3/4. As you can see, the picture was taken just before we made it through the wall. Our trolley is already halfway through.

Here's Simon making his way to the train.

This is when it all started sinking in. Poor girls.
